BR AND ARCHITECTURE understands itself as a concinnity of individual talents from a variety of disciplines that create brands in their entirety. Following our understanding a brand today is filled with complexity. Brand building today means to fuse all disciplines of a company into one entity by laying them out in a new relation to each other and by devising them simultaneously. Brand building to us does not mean to simply portray the apparent, it rather means to connect all elements to be revealed in its entirety. The coherence of elements to each other as well as the equality of their significance is of critical importance in our work. All disciplines and activities stand in co-relation to each other, shaping and forming a congruent brand image to speak one language, visually but also substantially.

The interaction of the various activities to create a brand today is what we call the architecture of a brand. As the architecture of buildings is subject to the perfect assembling of different elements (e.g. construction and appearance), a brand and its image derive from the same principle. BR AND ARCHITECTURE considers brand building as a whole. All disciplines from marketing, communication, wholesale and retail, which often have divergent objectives, shall be conciliated. This does not only send out a clear and obvious message, but more important is what is going to be revealed to the customer on an emotional and intellectual level.

In the course of this, the architecture of a brand should not be seen as being static. The brand must keep the ability to reinvent oneself. Customers are changing through various influences in today’s world of hyper-communication and global traveling. A brand and its products must be able to develop continuously new emotions and experiences. A brand must match the symptoms of times, while staying true to oneself.

The positive effect here is, that all thoughts and concepts come from one team that works closely together on every aspect. Our method does not contemplate the different disciplines as being isolated from each other but looks at them in their entirety and simultaneously assembles them as one discipline. Analogous to the architecture of a building, in which the inclusion of all elements lead to a coherent and substantial totality. A grand solution with no loss of time and driving power.
